At Lemon Myrtle Natural our aim is to provide quality natural products developed using pure Lemon Myrtle Oil and natural ingredients. All the products in our ranges have been carefully selected to synergistically align with our strategy of a "holistic" lemon myrtle presence and offer products that are beneficial to our customers, which are free from toxic ingredients and are ecologically responsible brands.  We have sourced products we know and love to use and recommend ... products that are great for you and your family, and great for our environment.  

Our Lemon Myrtle premium body care products are produced by Rainforest Remedies, which was established in 1999 by uniting a team of highly experienced, dynamic and visionary Australian farmers. Their key forcus was to grow and manufacture a premium range of natural skin care products with Lemon Myrtle as the base element.  A strict policy of organic farm management was initiated; a chemical-free environment using purely organic fertilisers.

Cultivating Lemon Myrtle

Lemon Myrtle is grown organically in plantations situated in the sub-tropical north-east corner of New South Wales, noted for its rich red volcanic soil, high rainfall and lush growing conditions.  This special tree is one of the native plants that managed to survive the ravages of the early settlers who stripped the forest of timber.  It was given its botanical name, Backhousia citrodora, in 1853 and the high citral content of the leaf has been known for over a century.

Harvesting Lemon Myrtle

When harvesting Lemon Myrtle, only selected leaves from the side and the top are removed so that each tree continues to flourish. The oil is subsequently steam distilled from the leaves and is blended with other naturally derived ingredients to form our exclusive range of products for you to enjoy.

Palm Oil use - Sustainable

The Lemon Myrtle Soap is the only product of our premium body care range that contains ingredients derived from palm oil.  The palm oil is sourced from a 70 year old plantation on one of the Malaysian islands, which was previously a rubber plantation that has been converted to a palm plantation when synthetic rubber reduced the demand for natural rubber. This plantation has been certified by RSPO as a Sustainable Palm Oil Plantation.

The company has investigated using different ingredients in our soap but has not been able to come up with anything that gives the same quality and is more environmentally friendly then the ingredients derived from palm oil that are being used at present.

Bodycare

The company has incorporated Lemon Myrtle in a range of bodycare products that have become a huge success in Australia.  Many people have reported that our Lemon Myrtle products have been beneficial for dry, sensitive and problem skin including Dermatitis, Eczema and Psoriasis.  

Each product is Sodium Laurel Sulphate free, contains no Parabens and is farmed and formulated to exacting standards, without compromise.
